Mennnowood was founded in 1985 on 12 ½ wooded acres  located in the Newport News area.  Our community serves seniors in the Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg areas.  We offer both Independent and Assisted Living apartments.  Comfort Cove is our program of specialized care and activities for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses.  We offer Respite Care for those who need temporary personal attention.  Regularly scheduled social and recreational activities enrich the lives of our residents.
